I finally got it going on Voicethread but now it is not working with sound on my blog so I am going to have to get my teacher to look at it and see what she can do to get the sound working but here it is without the sound but it does have the pictures:

Voicethread
Today at school we had to make a voicethread on a poem that we had previously written as an English task. But we are having great difficulty getting the sound and pictures to all work properly. I will post my voicethread here when I have made it and it is all working good. So watch this place!
P.S. If you would like to make your own Voicethread you can click here. It should open in a new window or tab depending on your settings and what browser you are using to surf the internet but it may not as I have tried it and it opened in the same window.

Elderly Writing #2
It was a cold, boring night that night. Harvey and Spencer were freezing their tails off when they decided to look for something to help warm themselves up a bit, when they came across the old PlayStation 1 sitting in the corner and they decided that it would be a good idea to play for a small amount of time just to warm their hands up. So they continued their search for a while but now it was for a different purpose, it was to find a game to play in the PlayStation 1 searched and searched but they couldn’t find any games to play so they sat down and decided that as a last resort they would just turn the PlayStation 1 on and hope like anything that there was already a game in it. They turned it on. They picked up the controllers. They shut their eyes. They could hear music. When they opened their eyes they could see a purple and orange dragon on the screen with the words “Spyro’s Revenge 4” floating magically above it. So while
Harvey tried to set up the game Spencer went and put some chips to boil on the stove and retrieve the Pepsi from the ancient refrigerator to eat and drink something while they are playing on the PlayStation 1. They played all through that night and into the next morning and so their fingers were warmed and they also found a new hobby. But when their wives came home they were scolded for being up all night and sent to bed without any breakfast, which was all right as they had been eating all night.

I love going to Nana and Poppa’s house because there is always plenty of love and plenty of things to do. My brother and I always go together as Poppa usually has some jobs for us to do and it can get a bit boring. It is always a great time at Nana’s because we usually go out somewhere for a drink of coffee or some thing and a piece of cake or similar as a reward for our hard work. Plus if I ever get bored I can just turn on the T.V. and watch something as they have SKY. I find that it is always a privilege to have a Nana and Poppa that are always willing to let my brother and I stay a couple of nights.

I found this website the other day and I thought that it was pretty cool as it can make pictures out of ordinary text like pluss signs and hash symbols. Sometimes they look really cool but other times they are just weird. The website is here. What you have to do is find a picture and then find the url for it (Online pictures only[I found Google really useful here]) and then copy and paste the url into the box where it says. From there you just click Submit and wait for it to pop up with your picture. Here are a few of my experimentations:
One google result
Today, 17th September, 2007 at 12:13pm at Te Awamutu Intermediate, Te Awamutu, Waikato, North Island, NewZealand is a moment in history as I, yes that’s right, I got only one result in Google by searching up all this random stuff about New Zealand, Kiwi burgers, Ford Falcons and other random things. At first I got like a million results but I kept at it and narrowed my search by heaps and in the end it came up with only one result and that was this site:
http://www.satellite.ac.nz/issues/06-14.pdf
It is some random site that I couldn’t be bothered to read up about as I came straight and wrote this post. Here is a picture to prove it.
We all made one of these as practice before we started the ”Life ’round Here” project.
